Luck has nothing to do with it.

One of the reasons I am making a tribute to this young man is simply because he is from Houston, which is my home city, so naturally I have always supported him.

Another reason is because this guy had all the pieces in his favor. Just came off an amazing Orange Bowl win and great individual performance, along with all the talk of being the hands down number one pick in the NFL draft. Everyone thought it was a certainty that he was going to the league, but he stuns the nation by saying he wants to come back to school and get his degree in architectural design, while also getting better as a football player. I have a lot of respect for him for doing this. Turning down literally millions of dollars to hit the books. Since his father is Oliver Luck who is a former NFL player and current co-owner of the Houston Dynamo, money may not have been an issue in his family, but without a doubt this is something that I can tip my hat to and I only hope the absolute best for this Houston Native.

He has worked hard for it, i know this for a fact..
